US Airways names Globe Air Cargo U.K. agent

US Airways names Globe Air Cargo U.K. agent    US Airways has appointed Globe Air Cargo, part of European Cargo Services, as its exclusive general sales and service agent in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
   The new contract took effect Feb. 1 and calls on Globe Air Cargo to market all cargo capacity for US Airways to the United States from the United Kingdom and Ireland on the airline's daily flights from London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin to their gateways in Charlotte, N.C., and Philadelphia, Pa.
   The airline offers 30 tons a day of capacity for cargo bound for the airline's main U.S. hubs in Philadelphia and Charlotte, as well as cargo bound for other domestic destinations in US Airways' network and express, courier and interline shipments.
