USADA lines plan September rate hike
Carrier members in the U.S. Australasia Discussion Agreement said Monday they will increase rates by $125 per TEU on dry and refrigerated shipments, effective Sept. 15.
USADA governs carriers providing service from the United States to Australia and New Zealand. Members are CMA CGM, Hamburg Sud, Hapag-Lloyd, Marfret, Maersk Line, and U.S. Lines.
Actions taken by the discussion agreement are not binding and rates increases are assessed on a voluntary basis by individual lines.
