USCIB names Mulligan to head D.C. office
The U.S. Council for International Business has appointed Rob Mulligan to senior vice president in charge of its Washington office.
Mulligan succeeds Timothy Deal, who retired following 14 years with the pro-trade organization. In this position, Mulligan will coordinate representation to the White House and Congress on trade and investment issues of importance to the U.S. business community. He will also oversee the USCIB's participation in business lobbying and coalition-building efforts.
Prior to this appointment, Mulligan served six years as senior vice president of international for TechAmerica (formerly the American Electronics Association) and seven years as assistant vice president of international external affairs for The Chubb Corp., a global commercial specialty insurer. Mulligan was also executive director of the Central Europe Institute in Prague, and worked with the U.S. Commerce Department as an international trade specialist.
