USFREIGHTWAYS COMPLETES DIVESTMENT FROM FREIGHT FORWARDING
USFreightways Corp. has completed the sale of its freight forwarding subsidiaries USF Worldwide Inc. and USF Worldwide Logistics (UK) Ltd. to GPS Logistics, LLC and Seko Worldwide.
The freight forwarding activities had been losing money within the Chicago-based trucking and logistics group.
The transaction was announced on Oct. 18.
