USSEC ISSUES BUNKER RATES
The United States South Europe Conference (USSEC) of ocean carriers, based in Crawley, West Sussex, in the United Kingdom, has announced the following adjustments to its bunker fuel rate.
Effective March 1, 2003, USSEC’s bunker adjustment factor, published in its relevant eastbound and westbound tariffs, will be $170 per 20-foot container, $340 per 40-foot container, and 14 percent for all other cargo.
These figures will apply through March 31st.
USSEC members include A.P. Moller-Maersk Sealand, Hapag Lloyd Container Linie GmbH, and P&O Nedlloyd, Ltd.
