USTR seeks comment for annual foreign trade barriers report

USTR seeks comment for annual foreign trade barriers report    The U.S. Trade Representative requests comments from the industry for its annual National Trade Estimate Report on Foreign Trade Barriers.
   Last year’s report is available on USTR’s Web site (https://www.ustr.gov) under the “reports” section. The report covers 10 categories of trade barriers, such as import policies, labeling, government procurement and export subsidies.
   Comments for this year’s report must be sent to the USTR by Dec. 12. Submissions may be sent electronically to ntecomments@ita.doc.gov.
   “Particularly important are impediments materially affecting the actual and potential financial performance of an industry sector,” USTR said.
