UTi Worldwide will work with Beijing Changjiu Logistics Co., Ltd., to handle logistics requirements of automakers and part suppliers in China’s automotive market.

Freight forwarder UTi Worldwide has entered a partnership with Beijing Changjiu Logistics Co., Ltd., to serve the logistics requirements of automakers and part suppliers in China’s growing automotive market.
The privately held Beijing Changjiu Logistics Co. is the largest independent automotive logistics company in China, with a total annual revenue of $500 million, according to UTi.
“UTi and Changjiu will offer end-to-end service for automotive clients integrating freight forwarding, inland transportation, production logistics, order management, and customs brokerage,” said Ditlev Blicher, UTi’s president for Asia Pacific, in a statement.
The partnership will also help UTi increase its footprint in the China market by leveraging Changjiu’s client base, cultural awareness and governmental relationships, Blicher added.
