The new “shared asset” model, which is 228,000 square feet, replaces two separate UTi buildings that were in the area.
“Having both teams in one location allows UTi to share best practices and expertise,” stated Chief Executive Officer Eric Kirchner. “UTi also benefits from cost reductions as a result of sharing equipment and utilities, which allows us to apply those savings to other improvements.”
