Vanguard opens 3rd Mexico office

Vanguard Logistics Services has opened a third office in Mexico, located in the city of Queretaro.

In August 2007, Vanguard entered the market by starting a commercial head office in Mexico City and an operational office in Veracruz. With the addition of the Queretaro branch, the non-vessel-operating common carrier said it's better placed to offer personalized service to its freight forwarder customers in the region.

Hal Donahue, Vanguard's regional managing director for Latin America, also said the new Mexico office would 'allow us to follow up more effectively on sales leads generated by our overseas offices and agents.'

Vanguard's Queretaro branch will promote all existing import services to Mexico, including services from Asia, Europe and the rail service from Chicago.
