The VARGO Technology Center will be housed in 7,500 square feet of office space at 400 Metro Place North. The company, with headquarters in Hilliard, Ohio, has additional offices in Austin, Texas; Berkeley, Calif.; and the Grand Rapids, Mich., area.
The central Ohio software team, encompassing about 17 employees, will relocate in September from the Hilliard headquarters to the Technology Center, which will have space to grow to about 30 employees.
VARGO offers complete fulfillment solutions for e-commerce, retail, wholesale and manufacturing clients. Its intelligent software drives the fulfillment of many global retailers’ distribution centers across the country, including American Eagle Outfitters, Forever 21 and Gap Inc.
“This new space will allow for efficient and effective collaboration and inspire innovation from our software engineering team,” said Mike Vargo, president and CEO of VARGO. “The Technology Center will allow us to continue our vision to bring leading-edge WES software solutions to our industry and to our customers.”
The Technology Center will include a 900-square-foot training center dedicated to client meetings, sales presentations and large group training sessions. In addition, VARGO plans to house a lab and product demonstration area.
The space that opens up at the VARGO headquarters in Hilliard will be used by the growing systems integrations group.
