Vastera adds EU consulting practice
Vastera Inc. said it is expanding its trade management consulting practice to include coverage of the European Union.
Vastera, which recently agreed to be acquired by financial services giant JP Morgan Chase, offers software to automate the import-export compliance process and outsourced customs management in Europe, and is adding strategic and operational advice to companies on how to improve their cross-border logistics and customs compliance operations in that part of the world.
The Dulles, Va.-based company named Scott Lander and David Merritt to lead the European trade management consulting practice.
