Venezuela-Cuba trade increasing
Trade between Venezuela and Cuba is expected to increase by 20 percent this year, according to Venezuela's Bolivarian News Agency.
The report said the trade totals are expected to increase to $1.2 billion. That does not include Venezuelan oil exports to Cuba. Venezuela is Cuba's top trade partner.
According to the South Florida Customs District, South Florida alone imports $1.2 billion in goods from Venezuela. U.S. export statistics show South Florida exports to Venezuela reached $3.1 billion in 2005.
