VirginÆs new regional cargo VP lineup

      Virgin Atlantic Cargo announced the appointment of its new regional vice presidents of cargo for Europe, Middle East and Africa, the Americas and Asia Pacific regions.

   Nick Jones has rejoined the airline as regional vice president for the Mideast and Africa after three years with Emirates, based in Dubai.

   James Williams becomes regional vice president for the Americas, based in New York. He was previously Virgin's vice president of the Asia Pacific cargo. He started his career in 1993 with a customs broker in Sydney before joining Virgin.

   Virgin appointed Dominic Jones to regional vice president for the Asia Pacific. He was formerly the airline's vice president of Mideast and Africa cargo.

   The airline has also named Marie Epstein as regional sales manager for the United States, based in New York. She has 26 years experience in the freight forwarding, brokerage and airline industry, including stints with Eagle Transport Services, Pakistan International Airlines, Pan Am and American Airlines. Prior to joining Virgin Atlantic, she was strategic partner manager for Delta Air Lines Cargo/Northwest Airlines Cargo.
