Visalia warehousing complex adding 270,000 square feet

San Diego-based commercial developer The Allen Group has announced plans to construct two additional industrial buildings at its MidState 99 Distribution Center in Visalia, Calif.

The 139,590 square-feet MidState Hayes Building 5 and 140,700 square-feet MidState Hayes Building 6, both currently under construction, will be developed as warehouse/distribution facilities. The new facilities are set for occupancy in April 2008.

The two new structures will add to the MidState 99 Distribution Center's current eight buildings totaling over 2 million square feet of space, all which are 100 percent occupied. Current tenants include VF Corporation, International Paper Company, JoAnn Stores, Coast Distribution Systems, Workflow One, Worms Way, Bound Tree Medical, ORS NASCO and DATS Trucking. The site, located about 30 miles south of Fresno and midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco in California's Central Valley, still retains nearly 200 acres of developable land that could accommodate another 1 million square-feet of buildings.
