Vista expands base in Indiana

   enVista, a supply chain consulting firm, will expand its headquarters in Carmel, Ind., by investing $1.2 million to add 10,000 square feet to its offices.  
   The expansion is expected to create up to 96 new jobs by 2016, according to the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), a board headed by Gov. Mitch Daniels.
   enVista, which focuses on the retail, automotive and health care industries, said it will also buy new hardware and software for the expansion. It currently employs 62 people at its Carmel location.
   “At the heart of the nation, our state’s prime location makes Indiana a leading hub for logistics companies like enVista,” Daniels said in a statement.
   IEDC offered enVista up to $1 million in conditional tax credits and $80,000 in training grants based on job creation plans. The tax credits are conditional to the hiring of Indiana residents.
