The airline said that since December 2001 it has transported more than 35,000 tons of freight on more than 570 cargo flights into the Afghanistan capital of Kabul using its fleet of AN-124-100 and IL-76 freighters.
Regular shipments carried by Volga-Dnepr into Afghanistan include construction and telecommunications equipment as well as heavy transport vehicles.
