The five-year contract is valued at about $150 million. TNT, which has had a long running relationship with Volkswagen, will operate the automaker’s warehouses in the interim under an existing contract.
TNT said it will build a new 70,000-square-meter parts center to support the business, employing some 400 people in late 2001.
