VSA3 ADDS SECOND LOOP TO EUROPE-SOUTH AMERICA SERVICE    Members of the VSA3 consortium have recently introduced a second string to operate alongside their existing North Europe – East Coast South America service.
   The member lines of the consortium are Braztrans Transportes Maritimo, Contship Containerlines, Compania Sud Americana de Vapores, Euroatlantic Container Line, Hansa Star Line, Montemar and P&O Nedlloyd. DSR Senator Line charters space from Montemar.
   The new, fortnightly string comprises three 1,100 TEU vessels and calls at Rotterdam, Tilbury, Hamburg, Le Havre, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Paranagua, Rio Grande, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Rotterdam, Tilbury, Hamburg, Antwerp and Le Havre.
   The pre-existing eight day service deploys six ships of 2,400 TEUs. The port rotation is Rotterdam, Tilbury, Hamburg, Antwerp, Le Havre, Bilbao, Santos, Paranagua, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Itajai and Santos, Rotterdam, Tilbury, Hamburg, Antwerp, Le Havre and Bilbao.
