Wal-Mart warehouse fetches prime price in Kansas City

A 130,000-square-foot Wal-Mart warehouse in Kansas City has sold for $16.4 million it was announced Tuesday.

The unnamed Cleveland-based buyer’s purchase price of more than $120 a square foot is one of the highest paid during the past two years for industrial space in the metropolitan Kansas City area.

The building was constructed in 1992 and is fully leased to Wal-Mart.

Los Angeles-based Sperry Van Ness represented the building's seller.
