In this position, Wall will serve as the principal advisor to the Commerce undersecretary on “dual-use” export control policy, or licensing rules for exports that have both commercial and military applications.
Prior to his confirmation, Wall was a senior international trade partner at law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where he focused on export controls, foreign investment, international trade proceedings and policy.
