WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN DEPLOYS NEW RO/RO SHIP
Wallenius Wilhelmsen has deployed a new specialized roll-on/roll-off vessel, the Talisman.
The ship is the second in a series of four sisterships built for Wallenius Wilhelmsen.
The vessel was commissioned by Wilh. Wilhelmsen ASA, one of the two shareholders in the Wallenius Wilhelmsen joint venture.
The Talisman will operate on its main route from the Far East to the U.S. East Coast via Panama, to Europe, back to the U.S. East Coast and onward via Panama to Australia/New Zealand and the Far East, the carrier said.
