Wallenius Wilhelmsen doubles frequency of Middle East service
Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics said it will increase the frequency of its Middle East service in September from monthly to every 15 days.
The roll-on/roll-off vessels deployed on the service will have a ramp capacity of up to 150 tons and deck heights of up to five meters.
The vessels carry automobiles, high and heavy cargo such as agricultural and construction machinery, as well as project and other types of non-container cargo.
The company’s current Middle East service includes the base ports of Jeddah, Dubai, Dammam and Kuwait. All of those ports will continue to be served from the U.S. East and Gulf coasts.
