Wallenius Wilhelmsen names Mexico manager

Wallenius Wilhelmsen names Mexico manager The car carrier specialist Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics said Thursday it has named Alejandro Meza as its country manager, Mexico.
   He will be responsible for managing all of WWL's activities in Mexico, including end of line operations at two automobile plant sites and four distribution centers, as well as all finished vehicle logistics for WWL's client, Nissan. He will report directly to Christopher Connor, the president of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics Americas and CEO of WWL Vehicle Services Americas.
   Prior to joining WWL, Meza was the director general and vice president of Latin America for Grupo Centurion de Mexico. He has experience in supply chain management and in automotive-related port and rail operations. He has been involved in start-up logistics projects with Ford, Toyota, General Motors, Mazda, and Isuzu.
