Wallenius Wilhelmsen signs Jacksonville deal with Ford
Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics has signed a contract with Ford Motor Co. to handle the automaker’s vehicle processing requirements in Jacksonville, Fla.
The vehicle processing services will include homologation, market specific modifications and warranty repairs. The first shipment of vehicles in Jacksonville is scheduled for mid-September 2006. Annual volumes are expected to be up to 30,000 vehicles annually.
Ford has also extended a contract that utilizes the services of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics in Brunswick, Ga.
