WAN HAI AND TRANS-PACIFIC LINES TO SWAP SLOTS IN PACIFIC
Wan Hai Lines and Trans-Pacific Lines plan to exchange slots in the transpacific container trade.
Under a reciprocal slot charter agreement, filed with the Federal Maritime Commission, the carriers will exchange container slots on their respective vessels in the trade between the U.S. West Coast and Korea, China and Taiwan.
Wan Hai and Trans-Pacific currently each operate a single weekly transpacific service.
