Ward named to top job at Famous Pacific Shipping

Ward named to top job at Famous Pacific Shipping Asia based non-vessel-operating common carrier Famous Pacific Shipping has appointed Oliver Ward to the newly created post of group executive director, the company said Monday.
   Ward was appointed after an international executive search, and one of his main functions will be overall responsibility for corporate management of the FPS Group of companies, reporting to the company’s executive committee, FPS said in a statement.
   “The Famous Pacific Shipping Group faces similar issues to those I addressed when I was commercial director at the U.K.-based Overseas Shippers Association, so I am confident that I can bring added value to my work within the network,” Ward said.
