Weber Distribution appoints Cuellar, Silver to new roles

Weber Distribution appoints Cuellar, Silver to new roles Weber Distribution, a Los Angeles-based logistics service provider, has hired Daniel Cuellar as director of supply chain management, and David Silver as manager of transportation. Both are new positions to expand the company’s range of services.
   Cuellar will be responsible for analyzing the supply chains of Weber’s customers. Before joining Weber, Cuellar worked for Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Office Depot, Coca-Cola Bottling Co. and UPS. He most recently was director of distribution for Dorel Juvenile Group.
   Silver will be responsible for finding the best transportation mix for Weber’s customers, including drayage, less-than-truckload and full-truckload, intermodal, transloading and cross-docking. He comes to Weber after working for Siriani & Associates, Inc. as vice president and ABF Freight System as director of national accounts.
