Weber Distribution hires APL Logistics’ Baugh
Weber Distribution, a West Coast logistics and supply chain management provider, has hired Jim Baugh as vice president of warehouse operations.
Baugh join the Santa Fe Springs, Calif.-based company from APL Logistics where he was managing director, western region, supervising its financial, operational, and sales activities for sites in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the logistics industry having also worked for AmeriCold Logistics, Fleming Foods, G & G Produce, and Alpha Beta.
At Weber, Baugh is responsible for managing all aspects associated with its 18 West Coast distribution facilities — totaling about 3 million square feet of space — including operations, administration, customer service, sales support, and systems. He has also been made part of Weber’s executive management team.
