WFS boosts Baltimore business with three air cargo handling contracts

Worldwide Flight Services has been awarded cargo-handling contracts at Baltimore Washington International Airport by three airlines, Continental Airlines, Northwest Airlines and US Airways.

The three contracts will boost WFS’s monthly throughput at its 22,000 square feet warehouse and office facility in Baltimore from 1,500 tons to 2,000 tons. The company also handles Baltimore cargo for British Airways and United Airlines.

In 2007, WFS handled 1 million tons of cargo and mail at 35 locations in North America.
