Wider quits Panalpina
Roland Wider, Panalpina’s executive board and chief administrative officer, Wednesday resigned from the Swiss logistics and forwarding firm “by mutual agreement.”
Wider joined Panalpina in 2002 as chief financial officer before taking over his last position with responsibility for human resources and information technology in 2005.
Panalpina said that it would name a new head of human resources in due course, but that the role would not be an executive board position. The new head of IT, G'nther Denk, will report to Joerg Eggenberger, Panalpina’s chief operations officer.
