Wong joins Trans Global as MD

Wong joins Trans Global as MD    Hong Kong-based Trans Global Logistics has named Eric Wong as managing director.
   Wong was executive director of international freight forwarding for Kerry Logistics. Prior to his stint with Kerry, Wong worked for Jardine Logistics for nine years and was manager of Far East operations for Toronto-based forwarder CanPac International Freight Services.
   For Trans Global, Wong will have overall product responsibility for ocean transportation, including carrier relations, product development and service delivery. He also has geographic responsibility for the company's operations in North Asia, including China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan, and development responsibility for Latin America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
