World Air Holdings to repurchase up to 2 million shares

   Peachtree City, Ga.-based World Air Holdings, the parent company of World Airways and North American Airlines, will repurchase up to 2 million shares of the company’s common stock.

   World Air said that the repurchases will not commence until it has filed its delayed 2005 annual report with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
