World Airways to beef up fleet
World Airways said it signed a letter of intent to lease two MD-11F planes early next year for its international cargo fleet as the world economic recovery increases demand for air freight services.
The additional planes will bring the Atlanta-based carrier’s MD-11 cargo fleet to five planes. World also operates five DC-10s, some of which are passenger variants used for travel charter operations.
