Worldwide Flight wins contract from Continental

   Continental Airlines has hired Worldwide Flight Services to provide it with cargo warehousing, customer service, mail handling and ramp handling services in Honolulu.
   Worldwide will service 45 passenger flights a week linking Honolulu with Los Angles, Houston, Guam, and Newark, N.J., and Continental’s twice-weekly Boeing 727 freighter services to and from Majuro in the South Pacific.
   WFS now provide cargo handling for Continental Airlines at Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Columbus and Buffalo International airports. It is also contracted by the airline to provide passenger operations in Montrose, Denver, Washington National, Halifax, Virgin Islands, Steamboat Springs and Vail.

It reflects the quality of service and value we provide and also the airline's trust and confidence in WFS and its staff in North America,' said John Sabol, WFS senior vice president of cargo terminal services for North America. 'This latest contract follows our successful bids for the airline's cargo handling in Baltimore and Buffalo in the past year.'
