WTS RENEWS CONTRACT WITH FESCO
WTS Agencies has renewed its North American agency services contract with the Far Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd.
FESCO Agencies N.A. is managed by 40 WTS staff located in six offices throughout North America. The contract covers documentation, equipment control, intermodal and terminal operations, vessel husbandry, voyage accounting functions, claims, systems and quality assurance.
FESCO management, based in Vladivostok, said WTS had both the system and multi-trade experience it was looking for from an agency.
“We certainly could have developed our own system, but WTS Agencies has the technical expertise and by outsourcing our backroom functions, we can focus on our main expertise — shipping,” said Aspi Rostami, vice president and general manager for FESCO Agencies N.A.
