Wynn-Williams to chair Thomas Miller    Thomas Miller, managers of the UK P&I Club and the TT Club, elected Hugo Wynn-Williams as chairman of Thomas Miller Holdings Ltd at its annual general meeting June 4
   Wynn-Williams was deputy chairman and succeeds Peter Donnellan who had been chairman since 2006. Donnellan remains on the board as the leader of Thomas Miller's risk management and captive business based in Bermuda.
   Wynn-Williams has worked in the management of the UK P&I Club throughout his career at Thomas Miller, becoming chief executive officer of Thomas Miller P&I in 2004.
   'Last year our transport clubs had a premium income of $730 million and provided insurance to almost every type of business in the international transport chain,' he said.
   The past year had been very difficult for clients and the members of the Thomas Miller managed mutuals, he said. However, during last year's turmoil, Thomas Miller's investment management services successfully managed the $1.8 billion funds of its mutuals so that major investment losses were avoided.
