Yang Ming said that the ships will be delivered from the end of 2006 to early 2007. The ships will operate in the Asia/Europe trade, where they will be utilized in Yang Ming’s and “K” Line’s joint services.
“K” Line has also recently ordered four 8,120-TEU vessels from the Japanese shipyard I. H. I. Marine United Inc.
