Yang Ming offers free shipping to tsunami disaster areas
Taiwan’s Yang Ming Line said it will provide free port-to-port shipping services to international rescue and charity organizations approved by the governments of the areas affected by the recent Asian tsunami disaster.
Users of shipping services will not be invoiced for base ocean transport, but will have to pay terminal handling and other surcharges, the company said. The provision of free services by Yang Ming will last at least one month.
