Yang Ming, Wan Hai, Hapag-Lloyd launch Taiwan-Middle East link
Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp., Wan Hai Lines Ltd. and Hapag-Lloyd Container Line will start an Asia-Middle East weekly service, starting end-February from Kaohsiung.
The joint weekly service, named “Taiwan-Middle East Service,” will employ five 1,200-TEU containerships operated with a 35-day round voyage time.
The service will have a port rotation of Kaohsiung, Keelung, Hong Kong, Shekou, Singapore, Port Kelang, Jebel Ali, Damman, Colombo, Port Kelang, Singapore and Kaohsiung.
