YANGMING JOINS EUROPE/INDIA LINK OF ZIM AND SCI
Yangming has joined the Europe/India container service operated by Zim Israel
Navigation and by Shipping Corporation of India, as a third partner.
In February and April, Yangming is adding two of its ships to the joint
service.
After the entrance of Yangming, the service will be upgraded to a weekly
fixed-day service. The two additional vessels will bring the total tonnage to seven ships
of about 2,000-TEU capacity.
The joint service calls at Mumbai (Bombay), Colombo, Barcelona,
Felixstowe, Rotterdam and Hamburg, with a round trip of 49 days.
Yangming had already been buying slots on the Europe /India service of Zim and SCI since
January.
