Yee joins Oakland port commission
Attorney Alan Yee was sworn in last week as the newest member of the Oakland Port Commission.
Yee is a partner in the law firm Siegel & Yee. According to a statement from the port, 'Yee has litigated commercial cases involving trade and international commerce, representing businesses in trade with companies in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.'
He's also served on various commissions in Oakland, including police review and area redevelopment boards. Yee was nominated May 5 by Oakland Mayor Jean Quan. He'll serve a term through July 10, 2014, filling the seat previously held by Commissioner Kenneth Katzoff.
