YELLOW FREIGHT STARTS INTERNET-BASED VOICE SYSTEM
Yellow Freight has launched a live-voice capability on its Internet Web site.
The Overland Park, Kan.-based transportation firm developed the capability with systems developers FaceTime Communications and HearMe. Customers will be able to listen and talk directly to their Yellow customer service representatives via their Internet connection.
The service is available on Yellow’s Web-site at http://www.yellowfreight.com. A one-time download of the service takes less than a minute, the company said.
