Yellow Corp. completed its $1 billion acquisition of fellow partial load shipment carrier Roadway Corp. Thursday.
Yellow Transportation and Roadway will continue to operate as separate less-than-truckload companies. Shareholders approved the deal Tuesday.
The company had combined revenue of more than $6 billion in 2003.
