YRC names Gast head of New Penn Motor Express
Akron, Ohio-based YRC Regional Transportation, part of YRC Worldwide Inc., has named Steven D. Gast president and chief executive officer of its less-than-truckload carrier New Penn Motor Express.
Gast joined the Lebanon, Pa.-based New Penn in 1997 and has served as vice president of corporate planning and vice president of finance and administration.
YRC Regional Transportation is comprised of New Penn and the USF companies, which include USF Holland, USF Reddaway, USF Bestway and USF Glen Moore.
