YRC Worldwide said Friday that it has sold a significant portion of the truckload assets of its Glen Moore subsidiary to Celadon, another truckload carrier.
James Welch, YRC’s chief executive officer, said his company will focus on its less-than-truckload business.
“(Glen Moore’s) national, regional and dedicated fleet services augment our existing expertise, adding to our scale and accelerating our growth,” said Paul Will, Celadon’s vice chairman, president and chief operations officer, in a statement.
