YRC Worldwide hires strategy officer

YRC Worldwide hires strategy officer    Trucking company YRC Worldwide Inc. said it has elected Richard Williamson, managing director at the consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal, as its “chief strategy officer.”
   The company said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Wednesday that Williamson would “among other things, coordinate and oversee the company’s continued recovery efforts.”
   YRC hired Williamson and Alvarez & Marsal earlier this year, along with Tenex Capital Management, to assist in 'formulating and implementing its comprehensive plan to address the company’s capital structure and liquidity needs.'
   Thursday the Puerto Rico shipping and trucking company Trailer Bridge appointed Ivy Barton Suter, who had been a managing director at Alvarez & Marshal, to be its new chief executive officer.
