Zebra expands marine terminal automation

   Zebra Technologies Corp., a global provider of services that extend visibility into operations and give a digital presence to physical assets, announced the renewal of its partnership with Navis to be its exclusive provider of terminal automation to the maritime industry in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas regions.
   Zebra’s marine solutions include its WhereNet portfolio that enables terminal operators, port community operators and third party logistics providers to streamline their inbound and outbound logistics, as well as offers a series of services that provides automation for terminal operating systems and data collection.
   Navis is part of Cargotec Corp. and provides technology for managing and tracking the movement of cargo through terminals.
