ZIM ADDS NINGBO, COLON CALLS TO ZCS PENDULUM SERVICE
Zim Israel Navigation is adding direct calls at the ports of Ningbo in China and Colon in Panama to its Asia/U.S./Mediterranean “pendulum” service, called the Zim Container Service.
The revised itinerary of the weekly ZCS service will start with the sailing of the “Zim Mediterranean,” due to arrive in Ningbo on Jan. 4.
“The port of Ningbo in East China is a growing port serving the industrial and agricultural centers in the Yangtze River delta,” Zim said. The carrier also added that Panama is a major distribution center for goods from the Far East to the whole Caribbean basin.
The revised port rotation of the service is Hong Kong, Keelung, Pusan, Osaka, Yokohama, Los Angeles, Colon, Kingston, Savannah, New York, Halifax, Barcelona, Haifa, Piraeus, Leghorn, Barcelona, Halifax, New York, Savannah, Kingston, Los Angeles, Ningbo, Shekou and Hong Kong.
