Zim changes EMX loop

Zim changes EMX loop    Liner carrier Zim is changing the rotation of its EMX service between Asia and the Black Sea, according to a notice from Hapag-Lloyd, which takes slots on the service.
   The revised rotation, effective Dec. 30, eliminates a westbound call at Xiamen and replaces it with Qingdao. The service will also stop calling Xiamen and Da Chan Bay eastbound (though Da Chan Bay is retained westbound).
   The revised rotation is Qingdao, Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Da Chan Bay, Port Klang, Colombo, Haifa, Ashdod, Istanbul, Novorossiysk, Costanza, Izmir, Haifa, Nhava Sheva, Colombo, Port Klang and Qingdao.
   According to American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data, the service operates 10 vessels (all provided by Zim) with an average capacity of 4,313 TEUs. The Grand Alliance (which includes Hapag-Lloyd) take slots on the service, as does China Shipping.
