ZIM EXPANDS CUSTOMER SERVICES TO SOUTH ATLANTIC

Zim Israeli Navigation Co. said Monday it has expanded its customer service center in Norfolk, Va., to allow its Norfolk hub to assist importers and exporters in the U.S. South Atlantic, Gulf and Midwest.

ZIM includes Atlanta and Savannah in its South Atlantic region, Houston and New Orleans in the Gulf, and Chicago in its Midwest region.

Shaul Cohen-Mintz, president of ZIM, cited the ocean carrier’s “real-time customer service” that includes “sailing schedules, transit times, shipment details and logistics, rates, booking status or terminal logistics.”
